Countryman John is situated in the South Lakeland village of Coniston. The village can be reached from several directions, all very scenic routes. On entering Coniston, proceed towards the Petrol Station, at the adjacent crossroads, take the turn down to Lake Road, following signs for ‘The Gondola’. – Continue along this road for 800 yards passing the school on the right. – Just before the road takes a sharp left over the bridge, continue straight on into the Rural Workshops.
